Warehouseman Suspended by Commission Action After Arrest for Misconduct by a Corporate Official, Conspiracy to Commit Theft by Deception and Other Charges

Warehouseman Louis Gomez has been suspended by the Waterfront Commission after his arrest for Misconduct by a Corporate
Official, Conspiracy to Commit Theft by Deception, Financial Facilitation of Criminal Activity, Money Laundering and Receiving Stolen Property. The Criminal Complaint charges that Gomez
set up a fictitious corporation, LGM Pump Parts and Services, LLC, in order to defraud International-Matex Tank Terminal in Bayonne. Gomez and LGM Pump Parts billed and received payments
from IMTT for parts and services that were never delivered or performed. Gomez received over $18,000 in this manner. The criminal case is being prosecuted by the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office.
The Commission today issued a Notice of Hearing against Gomez and he is temporarily suspended pending the outcome of his
administrative hearing on those charges.
