Nearly 25 Pounds of Cocaine Seized from Container at Red Hook Terminal

On May 7, 2012, Detectives and Agents from the Waterfront Commission, the New York City Police Department and the United States Customs and Border Patrol discovered cocaine hidden within a refrigerated container at Red Hook terminal in Brooklyn. The container was bound for Antwerp, Belgium and eleven bricks of cocaine with a total weight of 24.6 pounds were found concealed in the unit. The matter is under investigation.
