LONGSHOREMAN SURRENDERS REGISTRATION

On May 13, 2016, Katherine Powell (LS-84316), age 40, a resident of Easton, Pennsylvania, surrendered her registration with prejudice. On June 1, 2016, the Commission approved the surrender of registration. The surrender of registration was part of an agreement with the Office of the Essex County Prosecutor. Powell was permitted to enter the Pre Trial Intervention Program for the indicted crimes of Aggravated Arson, Insurance Fraud and Attempted Theft by Deception. She received her temporary registration as a longshoreman in March of 2014. Senior Commission Counsel Harry Moskowitz handled the case on behalf of the Commission.
