CHECKER SUSPENDED AFTER TWO ARRESTS FOR HEROIN POSSESSION

Checker Ryan J. Conley has been suspended by the Commission and a Notice of Hearing has been issued after he was arrested twice in Passaic County, NJ for Possession of Heroin (NJSA 2C:35-10a(1) ), both arrests for third degree offenses. Conley was arrested on January 12, 2016 for possession of 5 glassines of heroin during surveillance of narcotics trafficking. On February 4, 2016, Conley was arrested after a car stop and found in possession of 104 bags of heroin.
The Commission temporarily suspended Conley’s checker registration pending the outcome of an Administrative Hearing on the charges. The Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office is prosecuting the criminal matters.
