Longshoreman Suspended by Commission Action after His Arrest for Possession of Cocaine and Heroin

Special Craft Longshoreman William Z. Henyecz has been suspended by the Waterfront Commission after his arrest for Possession of Cocaine and Possession of Heroin. The Criminal Complaint charges that Henyecz possessed 2 bags of cocaine and 60 decks of heroin in Newark, New Jersey. The criminal case is being prosecuted by the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office.
The Commission today issued a Notice of Hearing against Henyecz. In addition to the charges in the Criminal Complaint, the Notice of Hearing alleges that Henyecz used or was under the influence of cocaine and operated a motor vehicle while knowingly having controlled dangerous substances in his possession or in the vehicle. He is temporarily suspended pending the outcome of his administrative hearing on those charges.
