Application to Work in Warehouse Denied Because of Fraud,
Deceit and Misrepresentation

  The Commission denied the application of Gianni Trapani, 32, of Staten Island to perform warehouse labor. The application was denied following an administrative hearing due to Trapani’s failure to complete her sworn application truthfully by omitting her previous use of controlled dangerous substances. The Administrative Law Judge (ALJ) found that the integrity of the process requires an application be completed in a truthful manner and because Trapani did not do so, recommended that her application be denied. The Commission followed the recommendation of the ALJ.
