Cassidy Jr., 30, of North Plainfield, NJ, pending the outcome of an administrative hearing based upon two arrests: on August 20, 2020; and August 21, 2020. Both arrests involved Cassidy’s alleged possession of heroin and various drug paraphernalia associated with the ingestion of heroin. The August 20, 2020 arrest occurred in Bernards Township, New Jersey and resulted in disorderly persons charges for Possession of CDS (N.J.S.A. §2C:35-10(A)) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (N.J.S.A. §2C:36-2). The August 21, 2020 arrest occurred in Green Brook Township, New Jersey and resulted in a charge of Possession of CDS (N.J.S.A. §2C:35-10(A)) a crime of the third degree. Both of Mr. Cassidy's cases remain open and pending with the Somerset County Prosecutor's Office.

Cassidy has been charged by the Commission in a Notice of Hearing with possession of Controlled Dangerous Substances, as noted above, and also with failing to provide evidence lawfully required to be produced to the Commission as part of an ongoing investigation.
